Mini Top der Kloten Flyers einmal mehr Big Top!
Die Jungs der Kloten Flyers Mini Top waren über Ostern in Riga. Beim Turnier mit insgesamt 28 Mannschaften aus Russland, Schweden, Lettland, Norwegen, Finnland, Ungarn, Schweiz usw. haben sie den hervorragenden 5. Platz belegt, mit nur einem (leider zum falschen Zeitpunkt) knapp verlorenen Match.Andreas Döpfner wurde zum “Besten Stürmer” des Turniers und zum besten Spieler der Kloten Flyers gewählt. Zusätzlich wurde er 2. auf der Scorrerliste mit 15 Punkten, was angesichts der Vielzahl an Spielern (über 600) eine grossartige Auszeichnung ist.

WELCOME TO RIGA CUP 2014
We like to welcome everybody in Riga, Latvia, the cultural capital of Europe 2014. There is plenty to see in Riga apart from the hockey. Stroll thru the Old Town, get a meal in Lido restaurant, get to the beach in Jurmala, visit the Art Nouveau District or go shopping at one of the malls around town.
Of course the main event for players and coaches is the tournament. Another tournament with more than 180 teams over 5 weekends. It is already the 9th edition of Riga Cup. We are proud to have such a variety of teams again. You guys are from all around Europe from countries as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Estonia, Lituania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Hungary, England, Netherlands and of course Latia.
It is also nice to see teams are comng back, which, in our opinion, means they enjoyed it in previous years. We wish all participants good luck and a great tournament and hope you enjoy your stay in beautiful Riga.
Furthermore we like to thank all players, coaches, parents, sponsors, arenas, referees and everybody not mentioned here, because all together we make it possible to have such a great tournament.
